Walking from Roppongi (Minato ku)gives you a nice opportunity to discover the Tokyo tower. This tower has been designed by the famous architect Tachu Naito (inspired by the French Tour Eiffel) and build in 1958 (one year earlier than me). the hight is 333m taller than the Eiffel Tower by 7 meters. Their is not so many tourist as now the Tokyo Skytree (Sumida ku)has opened since 2011 with 634m high.
This time I had no opportunity to visit at the night time but I strongly recommend you (thanks to the lighting) to go their at night for photo shooting before having a drink in one of the numerus bars of Roppongi hill. Their is also a nice small temple Zojo-ji next to the tower (photos of the tree prepared for the winter snow).
